In my artworks, I explore the role of memory and its ability to recreate impressions of a place and time. The memory is not a camera. Memories are not logical. They recall a day, a place, a feeling. Objects and people disappear and the memories of them that remain are fluid; mental images overlap, blend and fade away. Perspectives are skewed; no rules apply. You will find many unexpected details in my works. Please look twice to discover them.

My wish is to immortalize memories of a time and place that was special to me. My images are created from several of my own photographs, taken in the same location, which I then merge to create a single new image. The final work evokes that unique and mysterious moment in time which existed at the instant I took the photos.
